Custom Modern Art Deco Inspired Coffee Table "Perpetual Motion"
This "perpetual motion" coffee table was inspired by a design constraint challenge to have no flat surfaces besides the tabletop. This museum quality one of a kind piece features a marquetry top surface of sunburst rosewood and quad matched walnut veneers finished with a hand rubbed high gloss varnish. The legs are bent form laminated and timborana "tigerstripe" veneers which give the piece an element of motion. The apron is steam bent and laminated walnut.
