Depression Glass Stained Glass Transom Window, 1930s Duncan Miller Plate Stained Glass Plate Panel

Trade your fabric curtains for a fabulous stained glass valance. These suncatchers light up every room with their unique design and amazing use of recycled depression glass! Honor our past by displaying these wonderful vintage items for a new generation to enjoy -- and appreciate! These upcycled pieces create new memories -- and pass on family stories. . .

This one is crafted with Sandwich Glass centerpieces of Duncan Miller Glass dishes / coasters from the 1930s and 40s. Duncan-Miller actually produced the glassware collectors most often associate with the company between 1893 and 1955. The Duncan family not only owned the business, but the descendants of George Duncan operated the company until it closed in 1955.

The bold red of the glass enhances the delicate pattern of the glass plates and absolutely comes to life with the added interest of the glistening bevels.

Measuring approximately 24 x 9, there are rings attached for hanging either horizontally or vertically.
