Designing Office Room
My client wanted 2 workstations which allows each one to work without distraction, separated by an area for relaxation.
Our idea was to create a workstation on each side of the room and use the bay window in order to make a bench with storage and a relaxing space.
For top cupboards, we thought arched niches and doorways would make for a soft line.
For bottoms, we opted for drawers, file drawers and doors. For the bench, we put 3 drawers in the middle, and on each side , we made bench chests (to eliminate to lost space).
All of the cabinetry was custom manufactured, with raised panels, removable shelves and a wonderful white lacquer. This room is now very pleasant to work in, as well as very functional.
