Diamond Tote Textured Organic Linen /Beeswaxed Leather Trim /Plant Dyed Linen Lining
textured/sculptured substantial linen tote with vegetable tanned, beeswaxed leather trim.
this linen is from an 80 year old eco oriented mill in europe. i use linen because it is a clean, naturally anti-microbial fiber. growing flax and weaving it into linen fabric is a very sustainable process, and always has been. this linen has a great nubby texture and a variety of tans/gray fibers in it.
the leather straps are hand waxed with beeswax from a beekeeper down the road from my house. hand cut. leather will darken naturally over time.
straps and logo tag are secured with nickel rivets. rivets are finished on both ends, and are secured with leather "washers" for durability.
stitched leather bottom for structure and durability.
rainbow metallic embroidery lacing along top and side edges.
the tote is lined with a cheery pale yellow linen. the linen is from the same old mill, different weave. I dyed it by hand with plant dye.
2 large interior pockets, big enough for a small notebook. zig zag stitching for strength.
