a breakfast plate featuring scrambled eggs, sausage links and sausage patties. Both the scrambled eggs and patties utilized granular acrylic gel medium mixed with acrylic paint. The eggs I just "spooned" up with a brush and dumped them on a non-stick surface to dry, and they are as they were. The patties I tried to form circles with the same brush technique, failed, let them dry then flipped them over, because the bottom surface looked better, and cut them into more perfectly rounded shapes with a pair of scissors. The sausage links were clay, tinted with acrylic, and then made to look greasy with yellow and brown stained glass paint. they are presented on red plastic button; for my breakfast food i went with a variety of colourful plates because they made me think of diners, as does traditional breakfast food. so not all the food will be on matching plates.

this piece measures 1.5" in diameter. the food is glued down and immovable.
