Dragonfly Lantern
This Dragonfly Lantern is 11" x 6" x 6", comprising of 80 pieces of cut glass, glass stones and wire work. It is the perfect accent for a summer night spent outside, or a cozy even spent inside.
Each of the four panels on the lantern, depicts a simple dragonfly of a different colour sitting upon a cattail. Iridescent glass has been used for the dragonfly and the wire work on the wings and keeps the dragonfly delicate. The lantern created using primarily transparent glass for the best possible lighting effect. This lantern sparkles like jewelry.
The lantern has been photographed lit both with tea lights and with a small string of white Christmas/fairy lights. You can put it on a table or hang it on a hook - your choice! While stained glass can be safely displayed outdoors, I would recommend bringing stained glass items in during the winter, or during hail or wind storms. The lights and candles are not included.
This is an original design. Each piece of glass is chosen with care, hand cut and the panel is then hand crafted using the Tiffany copper foil method.
