This is my dreaming tree. The words on the piece are lyrics from the Dave Matthews Band song, "Dreaming Tree". The song really resonated with me, so I created this to reflect it.
The blue, and yellow of the sky along with the green grass are made out of melted crayons. The tree gets it's texture from layers and layers of decoupage and shades of brown acrylic paint. The words were done free hand with white acrylic paint.
The size of the piece is 24x72.
