Elements #33 is a unique style of work that the artist has dubbed an "Articulated Art Quilt". The individual components are "quilted" together using brass and gold-plated jewelry findings.
The fresh-water pearls that cascade from the bottom of the work glow with a soft warmth that sways in a breeze or when someone walks by the art. The overall design of this work echos the impression of moving waters that the hand-dyed fabric evokes.
