Euro Crib
The European mattress for a crib is a little smaller than the American version. We made this crib for a friend's first child in Paris.
We are now making this in the American size also. The wooden platform that you see Chris installing is a vast improvement over the cheap spring setup that is part of the hardware that is available to us in America. It is adjustable up and down as the child grows, and then is completely removed when the crib is used as a sofa/settle.
Look closely on one of the sofa pictures, and you can see the add on corbels that we include to hide all of the hardware.
NO MORE DROP SIDES FOR CRIBS....GOOD RIDDANCE. THE MECHANISMS HAD GOTTEN SO CHEAP, THEY WERE A DISASTER WAITING TO HAPPEN.
