Country Kitchen Island ~ Exotic Wood Top
This is an exotic wood kitchen island with a cutting board top. It is 32" tall x 32" long x 22" wide. The top is a cutting board surface with a large breadboard end made from Curly Cherry.
The top is 1.5" thick made from solid hardwoods: Curly Maple, Ash, Purpleheart, Mahogany, and Lacewood.
There is a hand-turned towel rack made from Bubinga, a beautiful exotic wood with stunning grain! The four legs are connected by four aprons, two of which contain a hand-cut double bead. At the bottom is a slatted shelf made with Brazilian Cherry and pegged with walnut dowels.
Everything has been routed precision flat to within 1/1000". Everything was hand sanded through 2000 grit and then hand-rubbed with 5 coats of non-toxic Salad Bowl Finish.
