Customer wanted to extend the size of a small deck off the raised back entrance using treated lumber. One small existing staircase was removed to allow for the deck extension; headers, joists, decking, & other structural members were installed according to local code. Several posts were constructed on-site & used to complete the perimeter railing. Rough sizes of the newly constructed decking are 16' wide x 24' long; deck is raised off the ground approximately 30". Length of time needed to compete deck depends on size, complexity, hand railing; not to mention weather & availability of materials.
