Fleur De Lis Mosaic Backsplash
The focus of this back splash is a mosaic Fleur de Lis, made of approximately 700 individual pigmented limestone tesserae with random glass accents and a band of these same glass accent pieces. The Fleur de Lis is then encased in an epoxy resin, protecting it from spilled / splashed food as well as heat.
The surrounding stone is a beautiful travertine in a mosaic pattern with a framed edge. Within the travertine mosaic are four arcs consisting of individually cut glass accent pieces. These glass accents are set just below the plane of the travertine to help protect them. The entire mosaic comes attached to hardieboard. It may be pregrouted (as pictured), or may come ungrouted.
