ALL TIGER MAPLE KITCHEN COUNTER STOOL
Vintage Orange & Black Tiger Maple.
FORM, FIT AND FUNCTION.
This is a 25" high stool, designed for kitchen counters, kitchen island, playing an instrument or use it on stage.
Hand carved from solid tiger maple wood following the anatomical curves of the human body.
No pressure points, the whole surface of the stool will support the upper body.
Legs are supported with traditional mortis and tenon joints with walnut wedge.
The seat is a solid 2" thick tiger maple with vintage orange dye.
Legs and stretchers are tiger maple, dyed black.
Finished, first with 5 coats of tung oil/varnish, and then walnut oil - carnauba - bees wax blend, so surface scratches can be buffed off.

Gabor custom made a tiger maple stool for me to match two stools made 7 years ago. He went out of his way to find the right piece of wood to work with so they matched as closely as possible. The stools from 7 years ago still look almost new. Sturdy and beautiful. You don’t see craftsmanship like this anymore. Slight delay in shipping but through no fault of the craftsman.
