Finely thrown smooth glossy ceramic serving bowl from Pond and Sencha collection by GemFOX. One of a kind, ready to ship.

Food safe, microwave and dishwasher safe. Treat carefully as you would other china.
Glossy black glaze outside. Inside green tea color with awesome blended drip design. Gem 2012 inscription barely visible beneath glaze on underside.
Relatively lightweight, thin walled. Made from a North Carolina clay that is between stoneware and porcelain, so texture is smooth and fine yet earthy and strong. Painted with non-commercial glazes formulated at my school and fired to ~2400 degrees Fahrenheit for a vitrified watertight finish.
