This plate is 12"x12" and is double layered. The base layer is a nice two tone red/dk red (almost black) with a clear top layer. The dragon was painted on (by me) using a gold paint made for fusing. It is formulated to be food safe and when fired on (at approx 1450 degrees) it doesn't scratch off, rub off or peel off.

This is a sample of what can be done with this technique. There is a multitude of colors and designs that can be used to customize the perfect piece. Best of all, it is dishwasher safe!
