This griffin is 8 3/4 high by 9 in wide with the holder hiding in the wings. This was a custom design that I enjoyed making.

Some legends state the Griffin can overpower any creature. Some say the Griffin is peaceful and don't harm humans. A Griffin is said to carry the sun god's chariot to lower the sun. ***
