The entire experience was great from picking the console table, working with Meredith Hart on the material of construction, communicating progress and timing for final shipment. Just received the table and we are extremely happy with the quality and design. Would highly recommend and we will consider first for future needs.
This lamp was a fun experiment in form and light. I used techniques similar to tambour doors to make the wooden slats that make up the shade, then lined the inside with a fine Japanese paper. The base and top are made of walnut and the shade is lacewood and paper. The cord for the light bulb unobtrusively slips out the end of one of the feet.
