This unique piece is made solid spalted Maple. Spalted maple is maple that has developed beautiful patterns of coloration due to a fungus. The wood looks unusual, and quite beautiful, and it is as strong and durable as non-spalted Maple (in case you were concerned). This piece is designed to hold audio equipment, with adjustable shelved and drawers perfectly fitted to hold cd's. It would however work equally well for many other things, such as books, collections etc... It features an adjustable shelf, paneled sides, dove tailed drawers, and curved sides/legs. The finish is natural, with a clear catalyzed finish that is durable and water resistant. This piece is exceptionally beautiful, and would be an eye catching addition to any home.
