Hazelwell House
On the stairway landing of a contemporary residence, a striking contrast is observed as water simultaneously glides down a polished stainless steel wall and slowly cascades down a textured copper column with bronze patina. The 1 ft. wide x 8 ft. tall copper column appears to float over the stainless steel basin and against the 4 ft. wide x 10 ft. tall polished stainless steel water wall. Water from the copper column falls onto the river stone bed, creating the tranquil sound of flowing water.
