Historic Building Plate Decorated Using The Sgraffito Technique

Redware Historic Building plate of red earthenware with white slip. Yellow coloring is from transparent glaze emulating yellowish colors of antique redware plates. Decorated using the sgraffito technique - scratching through the white slip to reveal the red clay beneath.
Project began with image from their menu. Patron decided on oval plate, verses round. Sketch was approved and the work began. Questions may include where to put names and/or dates, trees, flowers, what to include, what not to include, and lastly, what to inscribe on the back.

Sizes (approximate) available are 14 x 9 3/4 or 12 x 9
