We love our piece because it incorporates functional space perfectly with a sense of humor. The use of odd bits and pieces in surprising places, and the colors of her design reflect a sense of whimsy which is a unique quality of the artist Laura Silber.
Triple-tone Blue Hutch with antique iron heating grates inset into upper doors. All reclaimed wood: fir and pine barn boards, with mahogany details. Hardware is all reclaimed vintage. Upper doors are Apricot Yellow, lower door is Chambray, drawer is Heather's Green. Like all of our pieces, this is sealed with a zero-VOC acrylic poly to protect surfaces, and then hand-waxed with beeswax to give it an antique soft-matte look & silky feel.
