This was a great custom project for Shimano using steel and reclaimed wood on several different pieces for The 2014 Handmade Bike Show. I made a version of my custom Steel Hostess Stand and added Shimano's logo in steel letters that were later powder coated in Shimano blue. I also made two extremely heavy duty bike stands from reclaimed wood and steel featuring 5" casters to display the bicycles at the show. The reclaimed beam table was used as a bar stool/chair at the show along with a small rolling steel cabinet. All items were finished with an extensive patina process that gives them that vintage/antique feel and reclaimed wood that gives them a rustic/handmade charm.
