Ipe Planters
These planters are made from ipe, or Brazilian walnut. The were commissioned to hold small trees on a rooftop in NYC. Ipe is a beautiful wood that holds up great against the elements. The ipe slats cover a strong 2x4 pressure treated structure that will never blow out from root, water, and soil pressure. The interior is lined with a strong, durable plastic to keep the soil in.
