Outside has matte finish black and speckled green glaze (finish looks a lot like tetsubin iron teapot and furin iron windchime), inside has a thin coat of berry purple, with gorgeous dramatic drip pattern on the inside of the rim. "2012 gem" inscription faintly visible under a layer of glaze underneath the foot.
Lightweight, finely formed. Great bottle for 2 people pouring each other sake shots, enjoying it hot or cold.

Made from white stoneware close to porcelain. Wheel-thrown, wheel-trimmed, fired to about 2200°Fahrenheit for a watertight finish. Dishwasher and microwave safe. Lead free, consumption-grade glazes.
