Top notch work! I needed a keep sake box for a doll from the 1890s that was my Great Grandmother's. Phil did an awesome researching what wood would work, finish, etc., explaining why it was necessary to use very low acid type of wood and finish. Exceedingly knowledgeable about his craft, a true artisan and professional. Highly recommended!!
Order your custom keepsake box. Although most of our boxes are made of aromatic cedar, we also make boxes using a variety of domestic and exotic woods. Tops can be hinged or lift off. Each box can also be laser engraved.Contact me to order your personal keepsake box. Please include size and type of wood. Prices vary according to the box size, what hardware the box will have, the type of wood used to make the box, and other accessories such as engraving, felt, or flocking. Typical box size for papers is 13" x 9.75" (outside dimensions). Height varies according to your needs but typically runs between 3.5" and 5.5". Basic cost, no hardware except hinges, $94.14+shipping.

Very happy with the overall project. All of the stages of the project met all expectations. Phil did a great job and met my delivery timelines. Phil had some power outage problems in his shop, interrupting a few days of output, but was able to get the final product out the door. Appreciate the work and professionalism. This was the first time I’d ever worked with CustomMade. It was a very easy process. Phil did a great job of explaining the process and providing guidance on next steps. The project was completed about 4 weeks prior to the original estimate which was great since I was then able to give it as a Christmas gift. Phil provided a very detailed project proposal and was willing to make tweaks and revisions to honor my requests. My requests were pretty general but Phil built the project to specs. If I pursued an additional project in the future I’d be more specific and detailed. The wood he recommended was exactly the color I wanted. The shipping process was good as well, the keepsake box arrived in one piece and in great condition. The additional inset tray fit great. Overall, I’m very pleased with this project. I would recommend working with Phil to others.

Box is amazing. Super happy with the finished project which was received right on time despite me being in and out of contact frequently. I particularly like the weight of the box, it looks and feels well constructed and special.
