Kelp Shark Sofa/Entry Table ( 昆布サメ Konbu Same)
Deeply figured walnut top and left side. Voids filled with lapis, sodalite, peridot and aventurine semi precious stones. Grain suggests the body of a shark and the knot hole at the eye was filled with a round aventurine stone. Right support is claro walnut base with greenish patina copper support and copper flame painted kelp leaves. Truly a one of a kind conversation piece.
