Kitchen Work Cart
We made this piece for a customer who wanted something that could hold pots and pans, or maybe wine bottles, and also be used to prepare food on top. The base is welded from 1/2" steel rod and is finished with a gun blue treatment. The top is made from 2" thick hard maple, finished with mineral oil and beeswax. The four wheels are wooden and complement the piece well.
The top is 15" square and the piece is about 36" tall. All dimensions could be customized, more or fewer shelves, hooks, or larger tops - anything you can think of! What would your ideal kitchen cart look like? Let us know!
