I am very pleased with the timeliness, professionalism and quality of product in regard to my customized walnut vertical knife block. I very rarely provide product reviews, however Denny and his product impressed me so much I felt compelled to offer this review. I would not hesitate in contacting the Debner's for these custom products.
During the past year, we have had requests to make a vertical standing knife block; quite different from the standard blocks that protrude at an angle. Each slot in the block is customized to allow the knife to fit securely and in unison with the other knives. It is as much for efficiency as it is an artful design. This walnut block listed is 17" long x 3.5" wide x 9" high. It also has a slot for scissors. It has three coats of hand rubbed beeswax and food safe mineral oil applied as well. We also sell containers of this same formula, if you wish to purchase it.

This was my first experience with 'Custom Made' and certainly my first with Debner. What I was looking for, I was not able to find anywhere else. I had a set of kitchen and steak knives commissioned for me, and I was looking for a custom knife block that was very rustic that would compliment the more refined look of the knives. Debner Fine Art and Furniture was excited about the project and offered lots of great ideas and suggestions. I got to review wood samples and was sent photos and status updates every step of the way. The finished product is AMAZING and is truly a work of art. I can't be happier with the entire process from start to finish. Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!
