The "Pinto" desk features a beautiful crotch slab of Ambrosia Maple that was salvaged from the mountains of North Carolina. The intricate wood grain and natural edge will bring the beauty of nature into your home or office while the brushed steel legs create a modern, not-so-rustic, look. At its widest point, the desktop is 38", creating a large work surface. The split where the two trunks of the tree were growing has been stitched together with a maple bow-tie joint to create a nice but subtle accent.
