The customer who wanted this table made had already purchased the redwood slab top and asked me to create something with it.

He lives in a log cabin so stuck with a basic yet attractive style. The base has several cubbies to store items in and I used wormy maple to keep it more rustic looking.

I finished it with a coat of lacquer and then several top coats of a waterborne finish.
