This console table was created using two book matched slabs of urban reclaimed spalted and ambrosia Red Maple. One slab was used for the table top and the other was cut in half to create the eye pleasing stretcher (shelf) portion along the bottom. The wood has been planed flat, sanded smooth and finished in an environmentally friendly satin wood varnish. This wood is packed with character and colors!! Placed on custom fabricated 1 1/2" thick steel frames that have been painted flat black, the natural beauty of this wood JUMPS out! This would be a beautiful piece in your foyer, as a console table, beneath a long window, behind the sofa, or along the wall and used to display your art work. Finished piece measures 72 1/4" L x 14"-17" Deep x 31 3/4" H. The slab itself is 1 1/2" thick. The accent piece along the bottom (stretcher/shelf) is 6" off of the ground and goes up 9 3/4" in the center. This is a gorgeous piece that you will be proud to use in your home!
