This jewelry box is made from a walnut tree that was harvested in 2016 by myself, family and friends. It had been dead 5 years. The juniper is also locally sourced, having survived a wildland fire. The box is 14 by 14 by 8 3/4 inches high and inlaid with turquoise. The box has wonderful figure to it with swirls and sunbursts. All interior pieces are of walnut with plywood used only in the drawer and case bottoms.
