This live edge desk is made from a black gum slab with incredible character in the grain. The tree split into two branches which left a void that I filled with a semi transparent epoxy to keep a smooth and level surface.
It's finished with Rubio Monocoat which is very durable and really brings out the beautiful in the wood.
The legs are black steel and can be replaced with something different if preferred.
