This live edge Dining Table was a cooperative effort with the customer as the customer wanted to do as much work on the Table as was possible. This included: cutting down the oak trees on his property to make room for his new house; having the logs sawed into planks right (by a local sawyer the craftsman recommended) on site & then having the oak kiln dried; storing the oak for a year at the craftsman's shop; taking the oak to a local lumber company to have the planks glued, planed, and sanded into two (2) large panels; moving the 2 large glued up oak planks & Bench tops to a garage for final construction and panel glue up; removing & sanding the live edges; sanding the surfaces smooth; applying the finish; and installing the black metal legs and moving the complete Dining Table & Benches into his new home.
Table measures approximately 30" tall x 40" wide x 10'x6" long, with the top being 1-3/4" thick. Black metal legs were purchased by the customer through Amazon.
Completion time will vary depending on the active involvement of the customer, however, if the Dining Table is completed 100% by the craftsman, please allow 16+ weeks for completion & delivery. It's best to contact the craftsman through the Custommade.com website.
