This project offers a flexible and modernist alternative to a coffee table in the living room or den. The cubes are made of Finnish Birch with matte black Formica laminate, for easy maintenance. The holes on the side make it easy to move them about. I've chosen to make them with the edges almost fully exposed to create an attractive three-dimensional corner reveal, and to keep the weight down. They're open on the bottom, and do not offer storage as shown.
