We were looking for a custom, live edge mantle, and really love the final piece we got from High Country Woodworking. I am close to this area, so really liked the idea of using local materials and supporting a local artist. I would definitely come back for other pieces in the future.
We purchased a large amoubt of walnut from a sawmill fire and have given it new life! This lumbers natural live edge is highlighted with a burn patina
