Magazine Coasters

I make coasters out of magazine and other paper. I fold then glue the magazine into strips that I can then either roll into round or squared coasters or weave together into coasters.

I also upcycle old bar coasters into unique sets by covering them in paper and taping the edges.

I can make holders for any of my sets of coasters.

I triple seal each piece so they will stand the test of time. The groves hold an amazing amount of liquid that can easily be wiped with a cloth or left to dry. These coasters are easily cleaned with a damp cloth.

A set of coasters can take anywhere from two to six hours to make.

I made these pieces for the same reason I make all of my crafts: I love to work with paper, and I hate to see anything go to waste, especially if I know it has real potential to be beautiful.
