Box was custom sized to fit the Customers old Family Bible and allow space for hands to pick up the Bible. It is 14-1/2" Long x 13-1/2" Wide x 5-1/4" High. The Top was Hinged so that it open toward the Top for ease of removing Book.
Materials used were 5/8" Thick African Mahogany , Solid Brass Hinges (90 degree stop), Brown Felt (for interior bottom), UV Glass and Semi-gloss Polyurethane for the finish.
All corners were mitered then had splines inserted for strength and looks. There are soft rubber pads on each bottom corner to keep the Box from scratching the surface it is placed on as well as to keep the Box from sliding around.

Stephen did an excellent job throughout the process. He communicated the status of the project regularly and kept me up to date. The work quality was excellent. On shipping, my issue was with FedEx. While Stephen packed the item well, the box looked like someone had tossed it around and stepped on it. Might try UPS, they seem to do a better job in my opinion. Overall, a great experience...Thank you Stephen.
