I was commissioned by a new Santa Fe hair salon to build their store front signs. The client had the design logo for the sign. When I was building the signs, my artistic touch was adding the 3D gear effect.
The two signs were 4' w x 10' L using 18gauge steel.
In addition, I was asked to build two floating partition panels for the cutting stations and some unique utility stands to hold the stations hair dryers, curlers, etc...
The partitions were created using 16gauge expanded metal with found objects, The indoor sign was built on top of old barn wood and was mostly found items. The utility stands were created out of found objects.
This was a three week project and the cost was:
Signs -- 1000.00 for both, Partitions - 400.00 for both, Utility stands 250.00 for both. Plus, I created the indoor sign as well - 250.00.
