this coffee table is made from douglas fir wood salvaged from the hammonasset pier in madison, ct. the beach was pretty torn up by hurricane sandy and much of the wood was saved.

the wood was not treated with any chemicals during its past life.

it's about 30" in diameter and stands 18" tall on hand made legs made steel.the wood has been finished smooth and natural with a light coat of a low voc water-based polyurethane.
