Massive Solid Walnut Dining Table
This gorgeous 90 X 42 inch dining table has dual tapered, splayed legs and a faux 1.5 inch top and composite frame, which reduces weight without sacrificing an ounce of strength or solidity (the table simple does not move). The tabletop is fashioned from premium, nominally one-inch walnut (finished thickness 3/4 of and inch with 4 inch wide borders underneath all sides, cut form the ends of each board used and the side of the outside tabletop boards. Finished in wet-sanded Danish oil, the top has been hand wet-sanded in three steps to 600 grit, creating a super smooth, pore-free surface. It is a delight to the touch.
