This is a custom-sized bench on which to stand an x-large television,
made from steel plate and vintage reclaimed wood beams. The beams are of 70 year-old Canadian Douglas Fir reclaimed from sixteen foot sections that clad the ceiling of an estate house in Northern New Jersey.

The bench concept adds both a minimalist, urban-industrial styling and the warmth and character of old wood. The steel has been treated in an acid-bath to create a smooth but raw skin and then clear-coated; the wood is finished with fine, natural wood oil

This bench concept can equally make a tall console or sofa-table or work as a real indoor bench for a communal table
