Mikado Bench
This bench was commissioned by Lryic Opera Cleveland. There were actually two matching benches. They were made so that a 300 lb man could jump up and down on them. The under structure was heavy duty welded steel the cover was a burgundy jacquard and the legs were repourposed foundry reject cast aluminum cabriolet with very sensual female griffins sculpted at the top coming down to claw feet at the bottom.
