Designed during my Seat-A-Week design project, this ottoman features a hand woven seat made of over 250 feet of high strength para cord. each of the solid wood legs is turned by hand and then mortised to accept the strong steel stretchers that hold the seat. The legs are finished with 4 coats of my custom shop finish before receiving 2 more top coats. This finishing process is time labor intensive but produces an excellent finish that is velvety to the touch and makes the figure of the wood look like a work of art.
