Michael Creed exceeded my expectations every step of the way. From the first step of discussing the design of the table to how to best ship the table he was clear and concise in his communication and very open to my input. I picked him because of the unique pieces I had seen displayed on the Custom Made site. The table he designed for me is beautiful and will be cherished for years to come. He is a very talented craftsmen and I would highly recommend him to anyone that was interested in having him design and build a timeless piece of furniture for them.
" Nesting Instinct " is a kinetic coat rack reinterpreting the traditional hall/tree/bench . Custommade to use in the outer office of a CEO at an upholstery stuffing factory . Anyone waiting to see the boss , sits here . Outstretched wings rock gently when coats are hung on them . Motion shows through the pierced padded back as though a flurry of feathers . Top of front legs terminate in loops to hold umbrellas . Hats hang on head horns . Made of black walnut with a painted and stained finish , painted leather and polyester stuffing . Dimensions : 92" H. 43" W. 31" D.
