Nursing Rocker

Low, armless rockers were designed for a mother to nurse her baby to sleep, then slip him into his cradle still sleeping. They are also great for knitting, or playing guitar or sitting by the fire, rocking. This chair took over a hundred neckties to weave. It's rare to find a Kennedy-style rocker with both the seat and back needing weaving. Mostly I re-do just the seats. Are there a few dozen ties in your closet needing a new life? I would love to make them into a family heirloom.
