This is the Ocularius Lantern Pendant. It is a hanging accent lamp, not intended for general illumination- although it does produce a soft pool of light below the piece.

These pieces are not cobbled together from found objects: every part is a custom designed element. The master patterns are fabricated entirely on a wood lathe and a drill press with part specific tool fixtures.

Also, as these lights are handmade, there is typically some design variation from piece to piece.

The finished body color can be selected by the customer, so let me know what you would like. The piece is 5" in diameter, and roughly 18" long. The knob at the top is the functional on/off switch, and the panel meter works.

TAKE NOTICE: If a commission is placed for an Ocularius, you will receive a piece similar to the one in the above photos: it will not be exactly the same. As all my pieces are hand-made, the final products end up slightly different from lamp to lamp.
