Extra Long Parota Slab Table

Dining Room Table made from a Guanacaste Parota Slab and base made of Shedua. Fine woodworking by Jacquelyn Smith

This table measures 3" thick x 15'3" long, 50" wide and is about 29 1/2" high. It is finished with a waterproof 103 year old product called Waterlox. Waterlox is actually a floor finish. When it cures fully it is very durable and repairable.

This table was custom made and designed. Photos of installation. When the home is finished I will post finished photos.

The Shedua was the only wood I could find with a matching color and similar looking grain structure. If you are interested in a table like this using the same woods you can expect to have a slab shipped from one of my distributors to my shop. Then I build and create. :)

***price will vary depending on the wood choices and availability.

Thanks for stopping by my Oregon woodshop!
