★ ★ ★ THE ENGRAVING ★ ★ ★
The cover of this book is strong three-ply plywood. The names of the wedding couple, the date of the wedding, and optional decorations, are engraved by hand onto the front cover. The font may be chosen from the list under the Font option button on the right of the listing, or a custom font may be requested when you place your order.
★ ★ ★ HOW THIS BOOK IS MADE ★ ★ ★
This book uses 90 lb Canson watercolor paper, with minimal bleed-through. The book opens flat, making it easy to write in. The pages are sewn in, stitched with strong brown waxed linen thread to the leather that forms the spine. The wood covers are bound to the leather spine by both leather rivets and epoxy, a very durable construction. The wood of the covers is lightly stained, to keep the beauty of the wood, and varnished to protect it.

PAPER: Canson 90 lb acid-free drawing paper
GLUE: Hollander's archival PVA book adhesive.
