I designed this piece for a dear friend's cat. This cat was a very wise cat, who never let things bother him.... a very mellow cat.

Because of this, I focused on the word "serenity" as I began to work. The onyx stone with it's gently undulating veins is calm to look at....

The glass tree represents a quiet place to lie and contemplate one's place in the the world, with the cat's name (Skitters) prominently underneath. The name is sandblasted into the stone, and filled with paint. Text can be whatever you want, and is only limited by the available space - but we design with that in mind - this is not a "one size fits all" kind of place.

The onyx mounts to the black granite base via stainless steel pins securely fastened into the onyx.

Again, this is a sample for you to imagine the possibilities available for your own special pet memorial.
Hair/ashes can be fused into the glass.
